Now offering a new photography service: Capturing the bond between horse and rider.
My earliest memory of horses was going to the New Forest as a child, I thought it was a magical place and I fell under its spell. Growing up I did not have the opportunity to have much contact with horses but I never lost that curiosity for them and have always thought they are truly beautiful.
Like so many of us, last year my family and I visited the New Forest and this time my camera was at my side. I could not stop taking pictures of horses and found myself gaining a little more confidence around them, this sparked an idea to form of capturing not just horses but their owners too, to show that wonderful bond of trust, love and respect.
I started to practice my equine photography with friends who have horses, I have asked lots of questions and gained some valuable tips, I am most grateful for their patience!
For me photography is an art, and like all art its personal and evolving, I have really enjoyed learning this new photographic skill & I can’t wait to now share it with you.
Here are some images from a fairly recent, socially distanced shoot. These are the pretties but I have been told the bloopers are a great giggle too, I always add those fun images along with my edited photos.
